Rutini Wines @ The Ambassador's Gala Dinner of the Anglo-Argentine Society

 

 

 

Last Friday The Ambassador's Gala Dinner of the Anglo-Argentine was held in the emblematic Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London.

The day began with a welcome cocktail in which guests (State Authorities, Diplomats, Businessmen, Collectionists and Members) could introduce or meet again, as well as to welcome His Excellency Ambassador Carlos Sersale di Argentine Cerisano.

After the cocktail attendees were invited to move to the magnificent Edwardian Club overlooking Green Park, Which has an association with Argentine polo dating back to the 19th century.

At the principal table we could find, H.E. Carlos Sersale di Cerisano, Steve Summers - Lord Mayor of Westminster-, Mrs. Lynette de Jager, Zeev Godik- Gaucho Restaurants-, Guadeloupe Colla, Catherine Miller, Rolando Viñals - Rutini Wines Importer-, Antonhy Westnedge - Honorary President- AAS, Bernard Hornung, Xabier de Beristain Humphrey, Elmarie Venter, Charles Miskin and Judith A Cherni - Chair of the Specialty-Automobiles.

Attendees enjoyed a memorable dinner whose dishes were accompanied by Rutini Wines: Rutini Trumpeter Chardonnay 2015, Rutini Trumpeter Malbec Rosé 2016 and Rutini Collection Cabernet Malbec 2014 .

After dinner a Charity was made by Mr Stephen Hearn from Tring Market Auctions, in which artworks of artists Pablo Bronstein, Clara Serenellini and a box of Rutini Anthology XXXVIII creation of our Winemaker Mariano Di Paola were auctioned. whose funds have been allocated to the Argentine Charity Joy Now to help children in the province of Cordoba.

After the auction, attendees were invited to move to the next room to enjoy a live tango show and to continue delighting Rutini Wines.

A lovely evening that will remain in the memory of all present.

The Anglo-Argentine Society was founded in 1948 and, as a Charity registered in the United Kingdom, its main objective is to promote cultural and professional relations between Great Britain and Argentina in order to build strong social and creative ties between the two communities. The Society also raises money to support selected charities in Argentina.
